How to send emails from own email server

In order to send emails from its own email server you need to:

  1. install a email server if you don't have one or if you are not using a control panel.
  2. is recommended to have a valid PTR (RDNS) for your IP with a valid hostname, this need to be requested over a ticket.
  3. configure and create the email user account that you will use to send the email.
  4. configure your email client like outlook, with the new created user and your server info.
  5. send the email.

Email server for linux:

  • Exim
  • Postfix
  • Sendmail
  • qMail
  • Zimbra

Email Server for windows free:

  • Mailenable (standard)
  • hMail
